Thicker eyebrows tip

For along time people have been filling their eyebrows in and I'm one of them! I feel incomplete without my eyebrows filled in and I think it's finishes off you're makeup look. I only lightly fill mine out with just a natural collection eyeshadow in the shade Crushed Walnut as this matches my hair colour and eye colour funnier enough perfectly!

I normally fill them in with a Mac 266 small angle brush and this works perfectly to fill them in! But I have been looking online at YouTube tutorials and of models and how they have their makeup done and have found out that bold and big eyebrows are in which I haven't really tried so I thought why not give it a go!

So my secret tip to make them bolder is to use a thicker brush and the one I used was the Mac 275 which is the medium angled shading brush and I just fill my eyebrows out with it and leave the ends and the fronts and go back to then after with the smaller angles brush and you can instantly see how thicker they get and I honestly love it and I'm so happy I found out about it from a youtube video because again I think this year big brows are going to be in.

This was just a quick post because I had to tell you about the secret to bigger, bolder brows because I have been seeing them in magazines on models and I just wanted to give people a tip on how to get bolder brows especially if you have thinner brows!

Holiday Makeup

Finally a holiday post! Im so excited to be going on holiday back to Cyprus this year I actually can't wait to get an amazing tan and just sit in the sun all day! I thought I would do this post to just show you what sort of makeup I will be taking on holiday I always end up taking my normal makeup which is the makeup I wear on an everyday basis, and I don't normally wear any makeup considering the sun catches my face quick so I don't need it but I just take makeup just incase so lets get into it:)

The makeup bag is one of my favourite makeup bags ever because one it looks small but boy does it go on forever, I can fit so much makeup in there which is great and always comes in handy when im travelling places! The makeup bag is from Ted Baker and it was a prezzie for my birthday last year from Abbie and I love it!

Face:

First is the Nars Tinted Moisturizer in the shade Finland Light 1 this is the best tinted moisturizer I have ever owned and the coverage is brilliant you only need a bit of this as it can feel a bit thick sometimes but I don't use much so I really recommend it from Nars

Then for concealer and under eye concealer I used the Maybelline- Eraser Eye in the shade Light this is the best concealer and actually covers dark under eyes and spots and if it covers spots then it must be good! It also not very heavy either which is good and when I'm having a lazy day I just normally put this on as coverage as it does cover a lot and I just dot it over my face but normally I put this on my T-Zone and under my eyes!

Then I just apply my powder to my whole face and the one I use is the Kiko Soft Light Powder  in the shade 02 this has got to be on of my favourite powders as I had to buy a new one because I could not find my normal Maybelline one anywhere so I read up on the reviews on this on and people said how good it was so I went and brought one and I love it, it also stops me from going shiny and I normally just carry it in my bag just incase I do get a bit oily which is not nice!

Then I just use my fave bronzer and I think it is everyones favourite bronzer and thats the Benefit Hoola Bronzer and it's amazing I just put it on my cheek bones and the sides of my face and It's lasted me a life time I swear I have only recently hit pan and Im sure I will be buying a new one as soon as it runs out because it been fantastic and I really recommend it!

Then Im just taking my Nars Blush in the shade Love which is a rosy pink as it's light to carry and adds a nice suttle colour to my cheeks as I should be red already due to being in the sun all day if Im not careful so this is just an alternative to my Benefit-Rockateur as that one adds a lot of colour to your cheeks and I normally use it in the autumn/winter .

Then on to the last face product Benefit-High Beam this is a perfect product to give you a healthy glow I have only just started using it again and can't believe I stopped using it because it's perfect I just apply to my cheeks and rub it in and people can really see the difference when it's on!

Then on to the brushes I use to apply my face makeup are a range of brushes from Mac to Real Techniques....
Left-Right
The first one is a Real Techniques Blush Brush which I use to apply my blusher, the next one is a Mac 187 Brush which I use to apply bronzer to my cheek bones and sides of my face, then I use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply the High Beam to my cheeks , then the Real Techniques Buffing Brush which I use to apply the powder and lastly the Mac 190 Brush to apply my Nars Tinted moisturizer and the Beauty Blender for the concealer.

Eyes:

First for my eyes is to curl them with some eye lash curlers and then I just use my Nars-Longer than life Volumizing Mascara and it's amazing doesn't clump or anything and since I have been curing my lashes and apply vaseline to them when I go to bed they have go a  lot longer so the mascara shows that off a lot and I think it a brilliant mascara as Im really funny with mascara!

Then for Brows I have changed what I use because I was using a Mac eyeshadow which I actually choose the wrong colour and I have only just realised to instead of going to buy a new one I was watching this girl on youtube called imhereforever and she used a Natural Collection one so I went and brought one which matches my colour and this is in the shade Crushed Walnut so it was really inexpensive and works brilliantly. Then im just taking my Benefit-Speed Brow to keep my brows in place!

Then just for eyeshadow Im either taking the Naked Palette 2 or 3 as I had a wide range of colours to pick from then but Im going to discuss it with my mom so we can take one to share as it will be much easier but If you want to see the colours then go and read my post on comparing the two palettes  Naked 2&3 palette

Lips:

First lets get the Lip Balms out the way as they are great but they are very boring! So I have a lot of lip balms as I have really dry lips because weird fact but when I concentrate  I lick my lips no reasons, don't know why but hey! So one crucial thing is a medicated lip balm which stops the dryness and redness and that one is Blistex Med Plus and boy does it work it's great I put it on every night before I go to bed and it stops my lips from being dry and red! Then just a normal lip balm I use the Nivea Milk and Honey one and this is amazing works a treat and I just apply it on my lips throughout the day.

Then on to the last bit a lipstick! This was my prom lipstick and I have fallen inlove with it, it's a perfect colour and matches my skin tone which is great and its a Mac Lipstick in the shade Hue and it's just a shimmery brown colour but with a hint of pink and it's so pretty so definitely one of my favourites! Then also my Kiko Glow Touch Lips and Cheeks in the shade 101 Venus Pink which is also a lovely light pink and its good because you can use it for lip and cheek bonus!

Then for the brushes a Mac 266 Angled Brush to fill my eyebrows in and a Sigma E65 Small Angle as a lip brush because I didn't want to buy a new one:S

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked this post and to check Abbie's Summer Makeup for her makeup routine for summer:)

Review and comparing the naked 2&3 palette....

I know you have probably saw post and posts like this but I really wanted to show you the Naked 3 Palette and how its different to the Naked 2 palette! These 2 are my fav and I use them everyday however I have fell in love with the Barry M ones as well as Abbie did a post on it so go and check that post out as well and you will be able to see the comparison towards the naked palettes and the barry M palettes! Lets get started....

Naked 2 Palette:

Originally this was brought for me and my mom but my mom uses other eyeshadows like her Channels ones so she can use them up so she passed this on to me and she uses it when ever she wants! The colours in the Naked 2 Palette are a lot more darker and bolder then the ones in the Naked 3 Palette! In this palette you still have your simple colours at the front and the light browns at the front but to the end it develops in to darker colours!

Start of the Palette:
As you can see this is the start of the palette and it starts off with a light matte colour which is called Foxy I normally use this to highlight my brow bone, the next colour is Half Baked which is a lovely light brown colour and its not used that much but on some occasions I will wear this, the next one is used a lot by me and my mom and this one is called BootyCall and is a really light shimmery colour, the next one is called Chopper and this is a darker brown which again isn't used much, then it goes on to Tease which is a matte dark brown colour, and then the next one is one I use alot and this on is one is called SnakeBite and I use this one in the crease of my eyelid and it just looks a bit smokey when added in the crease or on top and the last one on this picture is called Suspect which as well sometimes I do add in to the crease.

Carrying on from Suspect it goes on to a dark brown colour which is called Pistol which is one I haven't actually experemented with and I might have to this half term as it looks like such a pretty colour! The next one is called Verve and this one is used by my mom a lot as you can see, the next one is YDK which is one I use to cover my eyelids and its such a lovely colour it's a dark brown however alot lighter then some of the others! The last two are ones I don't use much and these are Busted and Blackout , Busted is a dark dark brown compared to the whole palette and blackout is a matte black colour with a hint of sparkle in it!

Naked 3 Palette:
The Naked 3 Palette is the one I got for Christmas and the colours are a lot more natural and natural to work with and not so heavy on your eyes! The palette consists of baby pink shimmery colours and towards the end of the palette they range from light-dark browns which is good as you have different variety of colours to work with!

Start of the palette:
As you can see this is the start of the palette and it starts off with a very light colour which is similar to Foxy in the naked 2 palette and this one is called Strange and again its a white matte colour perfect to use to highlight your brow bone, the next one is Dust which is a delicate pink colour but when applied its very dark and very bold the next colour which is called Burnout looks similar and this is the one I use mainly when I use this palette, the next colour is a pink matte colour and this one is called Limit, the next one is called Buzz and this is a very dark pink so it kinda goes towards the purple side this one is very pretty however! The next one is another one that I use a lot and it is Trick which is a light shimmery pink and I love it so much it's a perfect colour! The last one on the picture is called Nooner and this is a dark brown matte colour!

Carrying on from Nooner there is a colour called Liar which is one of my favourites and I use this in my crease a lot I think its a beautiful colour and its a lighter pink/brown colour, Factory is the next one and this is a dark brown which is still very nice but its very similar to the colours in the Naked 2 Palette so I would use those colours first then move on to this one! Mugshot is then the next one and sometimes I use this one as I think its a lovely pretty colour on the pictures it looks like a light grey but looking at the palette its a light brown, the last one on the picture is called Darkside and this is a dark matte brown colour I don't use it much but its a very pretty colour!
Here is a close up of some of the colours but I just wanted to show the last colour which is called Blackheart and its a pretty dark brown colour with just little bit of sparkle in it and it's a lovely colour but I have no confidence to wear it!

Thank you for reading and I hope you liked this post! Comment if you have any of these and what your favourite colours are to use and comment if you would like me to do any tutorials with these!

Big Brows.....

Recently walking around town or going to school I have saw people with ridiculous massive brows however sometimes I have saw people with lovely filled in brows! I have just recently started filling in my brows as I didn't need it before, I have a lovely shaped eyebrow and have never really 'showed' them off as much so this post is just what I use and how my eyebrows turn out!

My Brow Kit
Speed Brow-Benefit
Brow Shaping Kit-Benefit

First I always apply the rest of my makeup and my eyeshadow and mascara and then its time to be patient to try and get them both right! I use the Brow Shaping Kit from Benefit  in the shade Medium I just apply this with the two little brushes that come with it because why should I buy 2 more brushes when the ones that come with it are perfect! I then put the lightest shade in the palette which is the powder type and just build this up though my eyebrows and then at the end I tend to concentrate at the start of my eyebrows and try to make them thicker I use the Hard Angled Brush for this bit and then I use the blending brush after I have finished and sometimes I use my finger just to go over them to make sure they are rubbed in because I don't want to look like a cave man....and this method always works for me!

Light Brown Powder the right side is what
I use to fill in my eyebrows.

Shade-Medium

The last step is to keep them in place it might just be me but my eyebrows seem to have a little party and just stick up so I apply the speed brow-Quick set brown gel which keeps them in place all day even when Im at school its perfect as well if you are rushing and you haven't got enough time to fill your brows in as it takes ages to get them right it just adds a nice colour to your brows but it's not as effective as the brow shaping kit but I only really use this to keep my eyebrows in place and its fantastic!

Finished product.....

This is what it looks like after I have finished! Filled in but no ridiculous and big! Expect more from me and Abbie as we have got loads lined up for our blog and we will try and get back in to the blogging game!
