You Can Do Anything! ♡ Quick Update

As I am sure you can tell this isn't a normal blog post but I thought I'd try something different today. I love quotes and think that they can really help when you feel weighed down. Me and Alicia have passed our GCSEs and are now studying for our A Levels. We weren't expecting it to be easy but we are suddenly being pulled and pushed from 4 angles and it is becoming more and more stressful. I believe you can do anything you set your mind to as long as you work and there's no such word as can't (I think that comes from the dancer in me) but I think we have all been doubting ourselves lately which is not good. Sometimes we all need some motivation which hopefully this post can give. People say you should just aim to be happy which is true but I believe everyone will be happier if they achieve bigger and better things which all comes from hard work. However, with hard work , as much as we hate it, sometimes things have to slip. This is why I haven't been posting on here much but I am planing things that I can upload when I have time.

Im not sure where I'm going with this anymore but I just wanted you to know I am alive! and that we wont be posting very regularly at the moment while we get on top of all our work.

Whats in my school bag...

I know a lot of people are back at school already but me and Alicia are off until Wednesday 4th September so we have 1 day left and I still have a history essay to write! oh dear! I'm going to apologize now for the dodge photo of my bag, its patent so the light just glares off it and its not good. Here's whats in my school bag for the start of year 11. This is just whats in it now because I'm always finding things to add throughout the year.

My bag for this year is the Ted Baker bowcon stud tote bag from House of Fraser. Its black and shiny and has a pale/neutral pink bow with rose gold stud. Its just beautiful! It is big so I'll fit everything I need in it and can probably balance my dance and PE kit on the top to save carrying 2 bags too and from school because I'v left my PE kit on the bus more than once... oops!

My pencil case is from PaperChase and has pastel colour owls all over it (Macbarbie07 would be proud!). All of my stationary is from either WHSmiths or Morrisons but most of it is from last year that I'm re using because there's nothing wrong with it at the moment so I'll just replace it as and when I need to.

As Alicia said we all need an emergency kit in our school bags! I have a large make up bag from Primark and then inside I have a perfumed deo because as I think I'v mentioned previously I do the core PE and BTEC Dance so over 2 weeks I do 9 hours of sports so this is essential! I also have a small mirror, lip balm, plasters, hand gel, tissues, clear nail varnish, nail file, blotting sheets, paracetamol,  my inhaler (because its always good to be able to breathe), my purse for my bus money too and from school and some feminine products (Mine are hidden in the little blue tin on top left of the photo).

Just loose in the bottom of my bag I keep my umbrella, clear exam pencil case, calculator (pink of course!) and my earphones, though they will probably go in the emergency kit so they don't get all tangled up.

Lastly just in the side pocket I keep hair bobbles, hair grips and not in the photo but a packet of chewing gum shhhh don't tell the teachers!

Thats whats in my bag. Good luck with going back to school and wish me luck to be able to get out of bed at 7 am on Wednesday!

Work Experience Week....

Last week was work experience week and I thought I would share my different outfits that I wore through out  the week. For my work experience placement  I went was work in an office with people that dealt with the admin side off stuff which basically was dealing with the elderly's money and giving it out to them and I was also put in with someone to sort out which people need urgent care and some that just needed reviews and honestly I loved it.

First day......Monday

On the first day I wore my normal black trousers which I normally wear for school which are from New Look I wore a white see through blouse with little black flowers on the top part and this was from Primark . And I wore a little white tank top underneath as I was on reception.

Third day....

This is what I wore on the third day which was again the same trousers from New Look and my peter pan collar blouse is from Primark  the collar on the top has some really nice and dainty flowers with pearls in the middle of the flowers on the collar just to add detail.

Again I wore the same shoes which are the ones from New Look and I used the same bag which is a black sparkly Ted Baker bag and I wore the same watch which is a Michael Kors watch.

Fourth Day...... Thursday

This is what I wore on Thursday which was a black skirt which was from Dorothy Perkins  with thick black tights which were from Dorothy Perkins  as well, the top I wore was a baby pink camisole top from Topshop.
Then I just added this heart shape necklace with a pearl in the middle which is from Forever 21 and again I used the same bag wore the same watch and the same shoes.

Fourth Day.....Friday and Last day

On the last day there was a party for one of the girls leaving and I also finished early so I did not dress up much so  what I wore was just something very simple but girly as well.

I wore the same skirt and tights and also wore the peplum heart shirt again and just tucked the peplum bit in to my skirt and honestly it looked really girly and looked like it  a dress.( Shirt is from New Look Skirt is from Dorothy Perkins )

Again I wore the same watch same shoes from New Look and the same bag:)

Overall I honestly really enjoyed my work experience and everyone in the office was lovely and I had a nice sending off and so did some other people that went on in to further jobs and it was also a lovely day which just topped the week off.
