Review and comparing the naked 2&3 palette....

I know you have probably saw post and posts like this but I really wanted to show you the Naked 3 Palette and how its different to the Naked 2 palette! These 2 are my fav and I use them everyday however I have fell in love with the Barry M ones as well as Abbie did a post on it so go and check that post out as well and you will be able to see the comparison towards the naked palettes and the barry M palettes! Lets get started....

Naked 2 Palette:

Originally this was brought for me and my mom but my mom uses other eyeshadows like her Channels ones so she can use them up so she passed this on to me and she uses it when ever she wants! The colours in the Naked 2 Palette are a lot more darker and bolder then the ones in the Naked 3 Palette! In this palette you still have your simple colours at the front and the light browns at the front but to the end it develops in to darker colours!

Start of the Palette:
As you can see this is the start of the palette and it starts off with a light matte colour which is called Foxy I normally use this to highlight my brow bone, the next colour is Half Baked which is a lovely light brown colour and its not used that much but on some occasions I will wear this, the next one is used a lot by me and my mom and this one is called BootyCall and is a really light shimmery colour, the next one is called Chopper and this is a darker brown which again isn't used much, then it goes on to Tease which is a matte dark brown colour, and then the next one is one I use alot and this on is one is called SnakeBite and I use this one in the crease of my eyelid and it just looks a bit smokey when added in the crease or on top and the last one on this picture is called Suspect which as well sometimes I do add in to the crease.

Carrying on from Suspect it goes on to a dark brown colour which is called Pistol which is one I haven't actually experemented with and I might have to this half term as it looks like such a pretty colour! The next one is called Verve and this one is used by my mom a lot as you can see, the next one is YDK which is one I use to cover my eyelids and its such a lovely colour it's a dark brown however alot lighter then some of the others! The last two are ones I don't use much and these are Busted and Blackout , Busted is a dark dark brown compared to the whole palette and blackout is a matte black colour with a hint of sparkle in it!

Naked 3 Palette:
The Naked 3 Palette is the one I got for Christmas and the colours are a lot more natural and natural to work with and not so heavy on your eyes! The palette consists of baby pink shimmery colours and towards the end of the palette they range from light-dark browns which is good as you have different variety of colours to work with!

Start of the palette:
As you can see this is the start of the palette and it starts off with a very light colour which is similar to Foxy in the naked 2 palette and this one is called Strange and again its a white matte colour perfect to use to highlight your brow bone, the next one is Dust which is a delicate pink colour but when applied its very dark and very bold the next colour which is called Burnout looks similar and this is the one I use mainly when I use this palette, the next colour is a pink matte colour and this one is called Limit, the next one is called Buzz and this is a very dark pink so it kinda goes towards the purple side this one is very pretty however! The next one is another one that I use a lot and it is Trick which is a light shimmery pink and I love it so much it's a perfect colour! The last one on the picture is called Nooner and this is a dark brown matte colour!

Carrying on from Nooner there is a colour called Liar which is one of my favourites and I use this in my crease a lot I think its a beautiful colour and its a lighter pink/brown colour, Factory is the next one and this is a dark brown which is still very nice but its very similar to the colours in the Naked 2 Palette so I would use those colours first then move on to this one! Mugshot is then the next one and sometimes I use this one as I think its a lovely pretty colour on the pictures it looks like a light grey but looking at the palette its a light brown, the last one on the picture is called Darkside and this is a dark matte brown colour I don't use it much but its a very pretty colour!
Here is a close up of some of the colours but I just wanted to show the last colour which is called Blackheart and its a pretty dark brown colour with just little bit of sparkle in it and it's a lovely colour but I have no confidence to wear it!

Thank you for reading and I hope you liked this post! Comment if you have any of these and what your favourite colours are to use and comment if you would like me to do any tutorials with these!

Barry M, Benefit, Maybelline & Tangle Teezer Haul! ♡

So guess who's already spent a good chunk of her birthday money? *Slowly raises hand* I did some damage in boots and superdrug in the space of a few days and I don't regret it though soon I'm going to need someone to hide my purse.

Barry M

So from superdrug I got 3 Barry M items. 2 eyeshadow palettes that a lot of people have been raving about as together they are basically dupes for the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I also got a really pretty Lip Lacquer Crayon.

£6.49

Firstly I got the Natural Glow shadow and blush pallet which is SO PRETTY! It is 6 subtle pastel colours with a pastel pink blush. All of the shadows have at least a slight shimmer to them so they can definitely be used as an everyday look or built up to a more formal look. A lot of people have been raving about this palette in particular and I can definitely see why! This is a really nice size as well for if your travelling as it is thin so can be stored away easily.
£6.49

The Smokin Hot palette is a lot less subtle than the Natural Glow palette. There is also a hot peach/pink blush which I'm not sure ill use as a blush because I'm not that brave but it will also be a nice eye shadow colour along with the other 6. Again all of the colours in the palette are shimmery and the first few could be used as subtle everyday colours but the others are a bit too bold in my opinion.
£4.99

The last thing I got from Barry M was this really pretty lip lacquer in the shade Ballet Pink. It is really shimmery and is definitely not something that can be used everyday but it is a really nice colour for over a lipstick when you are going out.

Benefit

£9.50

High Beam
From Benefit I had to get the Full Glam Ahead set. I love the Bad Gal Lash mascara but I am not quite prepared to pay £19 or £9.50 for a mascara yet. When I saw this set I had to get it because I can somehow justify paying this for a set of things but not just a mascara. The second thing in the set is the High Beam highlighter which I have got in a mini size and think it is one of the best highlighters so so now I have the full sized one! The last thing I have is the Stay Dont Stray Concealer and eye shadow primer that I am excited to try as I haven't even really heard much about it before.

Maybelline

£2.99
So today and yesterday I added to my Babylips collection with Hydrate and Cherry Me. They are both colours that I have been looking all over for and am excited to finally get! I got Hydrate from Morrisons because they now have a make up section that I spend most of my time in while we are there and the Cherry Me from Boots. The hydrate is clear and Cherry one is a really nice (you guessed it) cherry red.

Tangle Teezer

£10.99

I have wanted a tangle teezer for the longest time and have finally gone and bought one. I got the pink (of course) The Original brush. So far so good with this brush though I have only used it a couple of times it had definatly done what it claims to do and I'm sure this will soon become an essential hair care product for me.

Bourjois Eyeshadow ♡

I recently got 2 Bourjois eyeshadows. I have wanted to try bourjois products for quite a while and so I decided to start with 2 really pretty eye shadows and I'm gonna share with you what I think of them today.

One is a pearl shadow in the shade- Rose Innocent, and the other is a Ombre à paupières eye shadow in the shade Beige Rosè. Both of the eye shadows are £6.99 from Boots which I think is really reasonable for their quality. I did try to swatch the eye shadows but they are less of a colour and more of a shimer if that makes sence? So they didnt show up very well on the photographs. The pink is a really pretty, shimmery pearl colour that I have found is good over bold neutral colours to tone them down a bit and give them more of s shimmer if they are more matte colours. The beige is a great base in my opinion as it is more matte than the pink. It would be a great base for a classic smokey eye look or to slightly brighten the inner corners of the eye. It could also be used in a make up look for school as it is barely noticeable but is still good to brighten your eyes and make you look more awake which is always a bonus!

To apply these eye shadow they do come with a good foam/sponge applicator that I threw away because I didn't like the shape of it so I just use one of my Ted Baker ones. However, another great brush to use is the Models Own Eye Shading Brush. It is good to blend the shadows into other colours and to apply just one on its own.

Makeup Haul......

So what do I do when I have christmas money to spend.... well I got in to Selfridges and buy makeup yay... well not really have spent all my life saving's on my new Nars Makeup! I have came to the conclusion that Nars is lovely and my skin actually likes it as well which is a great start as my skin is funny with makeup products! I originally went in to Nars to buy myself some tinted moistures and a new mascara but I also got sucked in to the new Spring collection of blushes and lipsticks!

Satin Lip Pencil:
I don't normally wear anything on my lips really but when I saw this lip pencil which is called Stourhead-9213 I completely fell in love with it! Its just a light baby pink in a pencil form and its lovely to apply and I normally just put a lip balm on top so that my lips don't dry out!

Blush:
I have been trying to find the perfect blush for along time now and I couldn't find a nice one in Mac so I kinda gave up on looking however when the lady showed me the new blushes I fell in love with one called Love-4041 and its a darker pink but still light at the same time it's gorgeous and I really recommend it, I just smile and apply it to the apples of my cheeks and it just adds a bit of colour on my face for the dull winter months!

Mascara:
Unfortuantly my favourite mascara of all time has finally ran out which was a Lancome one which is limited edition and I couldn't find it anywhere so I just went ahead a brought a Nars one! I have been looking at reviews of the Nars mascara and I have heard good thing about them so I went ahead and brought one and I love it! Its the Volumizing Mascara Black-7006 I also love the packaging of the mascara because its a black matte but it does make your eyelashes look bolder and longer and I really recommend it!

Tinted Moisturizer:
Finally getting on to the product I originally went to buy! Im all for trying new tinted moisturisers as I don't wear any foundation as I don't really need it. I decided to try this out as I had ran out my Mac tinted moisturiser and I have had bad experainces with the people in Mac around my area in town and I told myself I wouldn't buy from that store again as it's the only one where I live so I decided to treat myself to this one and it's lovely the converage is brilliant and it covers any little irritating spots that pop up and it smells devine I love it! It doesn't lie heavy on my skin either which is a positive, the lady did a colour test on me so I knew what colour I was going for and I went for Light1 Finland-2321

I hope you like this post and comment what Nars makeup you own and if you want us to do anymore post related to makeup and stuff like that! We are finally back on the blogging game as we have a routine going know so still full up to our necks with school work but also succeeding at blogging!
Thank youuuuuuu

What I got for my 16th Birthday ♡

So this week I turned 16! I don't feel any different and so far haven't felt the need to get a moped licence, join the army or get married... strange! I love seeing other peoples blog posts like this so I thought that I would do one to show you what I got for my birthday. First of all I would just like to say that I'm not trying to show off or brag about anything I got I know I have been extremely lucky! Also I need to apologize for the state of my nail varnish in some of the pictures... I'm ashamed to say the least! Enjoy!

My main present was this BEAUTIFUL Michael Kors watch! I cant even explain how nice this watch is and I just never want to take it off! Its rose gold with a white face that looks slightly pink in some lights. It had diamonds around the face and where the numbers would be and the seconds hand looks like a little arrow. I blame Alicia for my new obsession with Michael Kors and I cant wait to start a Michael Kors collection in the future.

I have been wanting a Pandora ring for a long time so I asked my Nan and Granddad to get me one and they got me the the flower one that matches my earrings! Its from the new Pandora valentines collection like the charm that they got me too. I was in Oxford last weekend (more on that soon) and I saw the second ring which is just a very plain band so my Auntie got me that one for my birthday while we were there.

From my Auntie and Uncle I got this coral and cream Ted Baker make up bag. Its a really nice colour and and a nice size to keep my jewelry in (I know jewelry in a make up bag weird...). I also got a set of 9 seventeen nail varnishes which are such pretty colours and I cant wait to try them all! They also got me a 16 mug which I was much more excited for than I should have been.

My mom and dad also got me a SUPER fluffy pink Jack Wills hoodie which I really want to just live in its so soft! They also got me some really soft grey Jack Wills trackies that I would also really like to live in. With some money people gave me I decided to get 2 new leotards, 1 Capezio and 1 Roch Valley, and a pair of Roch Valley dance leggings.

The next things that I got are body products. I got a set of boots body washes which smell really good! There's a cocoa butter one, a mango one, a coconut one and my personal favorite cranberry. I also got the Soap & Glory Soaper Heroes set which I love! It has 3 products that I wanted to buy myself so now I can try them out and see what I think. Hopefully I will do a post on that set in the future so you can see what I think of it. Another Soap & Glory product I got was the sugar crush body wash. I have also been wanting to try this for a while so I was so happy to receive it.

From boots I got a lip balm set and a nail set and from Primark a really cute owl mirror and set of 3 patterned nail files.

Last weekend I went to London as I mentioned earlier and I went to see Billy Elliot the musical on the Saturday. It was AMAZING and I would highly recommend anyone to go and see it just remember your tissues! Then on the Sunday we went shopping in Oxford which is a lovely town (With a big Jack Wills so I was in my element) and I would like to go back again at some point. This was for my birthday and I'm also going to see my boys One Direction in May for the 3rd time which is really exciting and my ticket there was also a present.

I am so grateful for all of the gifts I received and will hopefully blogging about some of them soon. Now I'm going to sort out my nail varnish... I may be some time
