Favourite Lip Products ♡

Storage boxes- Next

So I own quite a lot of make up but I think my favouties have to be lip products. I have a few more than the ones I'm going to show today because I have just picked a range of my favourites to share today.
Also some of the pictures are quite bright because of the flash o my camera, believe it or not, this isn't just my bad photography skills, I did it on purpose so you can see the colours better.

Left- Right
Intense Care
Pink Punch
Cherry Me
Peach Kiss
Hydrate

Firstly I have a collection of Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms that I know me and Alicica LOVE! They are so nice, smell AMAZING and are so long lasting! I don't think you can go wrong with any of these and I would strongly recommend them to anyone. I also think that theses would be perfect if you are just starting out with makeup because they are cheap as well. I think my 2 favourites of the 5 would have to be Cherry Me and Peach Kiss.

Left - Right
Cranberry Cream
Raspberry Rush
Rosalita
Pink-a-Boo

Next I have this Clinnique Butter Shine Lipstick Pallette. I haven't really used this much because its much easier to just reach for a Lipstick than the pallette but it does have really pretty colours in it! I think my favourites are Pink- a - boo and Rosalita. They also have really cute names which I like too.

These are my top 3 lipsticks. First I have the Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in Raspberry. Natural Collection Lipsticks are really cheap so again good if you are just starting a make up collection. I saw a YouTube video as well where someone said this was a really good dupe for a Mac lipstick just a LOT cheaper! Then I have a Models Prefer lipstick. You used to be able to get Models Prefer in Boots but I don't think you can now so I'm not sure where you would get this (maybe eBay?) anymore but its definitely worth a try if you see it anywhere! Mine is the colour Sheer Rose. Lastly is my most favourite lip stick EVER! Its the slightly more pricey  Estee Lauder lipstick in 82 Palace pink. Its such a pretty pink shade but I don't think you can buy it anymore so I need to see if they do a similar one now because this is so nice! All 3 of these lipsticks are really long lasting as well so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Next I have 2 Benefit products. I firstly have my favourite sticky, lip gloss which is Life On The A List. Its a really pretty light pink which is very shimmery. I personally don't think that it is an everyday lip gloss because its so shimmery, but it is perfect for a party or going somewhere fancy! Secondly i have the Posie Tint. This is a cheek and lip tint but I dint use it on my cheeks as I cant seem to get it just right. It is so nice as a base for other lip colours as its a 'your lips but better' kind of colour that honestly lasts almost all day! You can eat and drink and although the colour you put on top will probably come off this certainly wont! Its so nice and definitely something ill buy again.

Theres only 1 thing i dislike about Ted Baker lip crayons, they don't have names! So I cant refer to one specifically with a name but ill give it a go! First is a beautiful pink that is lovely in the summer and so is the slightly more orange toned one. Lastly is the middle dark ready brown shade? This is PERFECT for autumn! I cant wait to wear it in the autumn as I got it for Christmas so haven't had chance yet.

Here I have 3 more products that I couldn't really categorize so I just decided to put them all together. First is the Tanya Burr lip gloss in the shade First Date. It is such a pretty, light, milky pink colour that has such a lovely almost shimmery matt effect. The colour is a bit light for me but I just add a darker pink on top that makes it look nicer. Hopefully with a tan this will look lovely though! Next is a lip gloss that I have had for ages and I think its from the super marker Morrisons beauty bits they have at christmas. Its called Boudoir Beauty and is in the shade Ruby Riot. Its a shimmer pink gloss that I actually wore over my Estee Lauder lipstick for prom. It is also really long lasting , at prom I didn't top it up once, which is obviously great! Lastly I have a shimmery almost metallic effect Barry M lip crayon in the shade 5 which I think is called Ballet Slipper or something like that? It is a bit strange on its own but perfect over a lipstick like the Estee Lauder or Natural Collection one for a party or night out.

Finally I have 3 products that I have used a lot! The Lancome Juicy Tube in Disco Melon WHICH IS THE GREATEST SMELLING THING EVER! That is a nice natural looking gloss as it basically goes on clear not the orange colour that it looks. Then 2 soap and glory products. Smooch opertor ehich I use every night before bed and its partner in crime A Great Kisser which is a coconut smelling (yum) glittery lip gloss that is very good for your lips along with Smooch Operator.

Finally this post is done! I started around 12 this afternoon and its now 7pm and I have to go to dance! My camera and laptop just hate me today! But at least its done.

Beauty & Fashion Haul ♡

WE'RE BACK! Todays post is the first of many from now on! Me and Alicia have done most of our exams now (12 down 4 to go for me!) so we are only going to school for revision and exams before our sixth form induction days and leavers day! This means more blog posts (especially in the lead up to prom!) because we are almost done!

Because of exams I haven't been shopping for ages so I just have a few things that either my mom has picked up for me or I got a while ago so I'm going to show you them. Also I had to take the pictures really quickly because my camera kept dying and didn't like the battery's I tried to use so some of the photos aren't the best quality.

Hair

L-R Heat Protect, Hairspray, Dry shampoo

Firstly I have some hair products. I have 2 VO5 products that I haven't used before but they were on offer in Boots so my mom picked them up. The VO5 Heat Protect styling spray is so nice! It smells really good, which is basically all I look for in beauty products, and works really well too. I wanted a heat protect spray because I have been using a lot more heat on my hair than I usually would because Iv recently discovered how nice a high pony tail looks with loose curls. It says that it works at up to 230 degrees which I'm not sure if it does as I'm not sure how hot my curlers get but it definitely does the job for me. The second VO5 product I got is the refresh me quick dry shampoo. I believe this is more expensive compared to the Batiste dry shampoo that most people (including me usually) use but I think although they both do a similar job, I prefer this one. It feels lighter, isn't as chalky, smells really good and you don't have to spend ages making sure you don't have white hair because it isn't such a thick consistency. Lastly for hair, I just have the Boots firm hold hairspray. I never spend much on hairspray because apart from curls, my hair holds styles pretty well because its so thick, so this is just a really nice one to use because the bottle is huge so lasts a long time.

Beauty

L-R Clinique foundation, Boots sponges
I only have 2 beauty products. The first is the Clinique super balanced makeup fouundation in the shade 03 ivory. I didnt actually buy this product my auntie gave it to me when she was doing my prom makeup trial. She bought it and stopped usimg it because she found a number 7 one she prefered. It looks so natural so is perfect for prom in my opinion and I have used it once since then and it blends really nicely both with your fingers and with the Real Tecniques expert face brush. Secondly something I have had for a while and was a repurchase, the Boots cosmetic soft sponge wedges. These are a pack of 4 but I have one in my makeup box at the minute and are good for applying concealer to any spots so your brushes don' t get germs on them because you can just use the end and cut it off the sponge. Definatly a make up collection must have!

Fashion

Firstly I have some shoes. These are the Low Leather white mono converse from office. They are so nice on there own but I got swarovski crystals put on mine. Alicia has some crystalised converse that are so nice so I decided to get some too. You buy the converse and send them off to get the crystals put on but luckily for me, the musical theater teacher at the dance school I teach at on a Saturday does them so she did mine. I love them and think they will be so nice in the summer especially in the sun but for now I'v just had to wear them on the 2 sunny days we have had since I got them because I'm worried the crystals could come off in the rain if they get wet.

I brought the white tank top and denim jacket at the same time from New Look because I thought they would look really nice together. The top is a bit big so it hangs a bit low but I'm gonna just tac the straps at the back or something because its too pretty with the daisy detailing not to wear. I paired this recently with some H&M jeggings (bellow) and it looked really nice and will look good with the white converse too. The jacket is just a simple light wash denim that I have already worn so much because it goes with literally anything! I have rolled up the sleeves because I think it looks better like that and if I'm wearing a watch or bracelet the sleeves cover it up if they're just left normal. The last item I have is a recent find as i brought it on Sunday from the Trafford Center in Manchester because I went to Manchester to find the Etihad stadium because I'm going to see One Direction there on Friday so my mom needed to find out where it is before its mayhem on Friday! Anyway we decided to just stretch our legs in the shopping center which I'v never been to (and is huge and amazing!) but I only got a vest top from Hollister. It has really pretty lace on the sleeves and is a bright pink that will look really nice with some denim shorts in the summer. It has the words 'Beach Daze' on it to which I love because it just sounds summery?! I wore it yesterday with the denim jacket, leggings and converse (bellow) and it was a really nice simple outfit.

June empties...

Empty products...

So at the end of June I tidied my bedroom and gathered together some empty products that i found and I'm going to share them with you now and tell you what I thought of them. Please note all brand prices are from Boots.

Hair...

John Freida - Go Blonder
John Freida - Moisturizing Shampoo
Morrisons - Firm hold mousse

First I have a shampoo and conditioner (both £5.89 ) from John Freida. This is the Go Blonder collection for blonde hair which gradually lightens blonde hair over time. I liked this for the winter when my hair starts to go darker and I can honestly say that I saw results within a couple of weeks! I didn't use this every time I washed my hair because as it lightens it probably has an element of bleach in it which obviously isn't very good for your hair. The shampoo just about saw me through the winter which was great and I have just finished the conditioner which I have been using along with my second product, John Freida Moisturizing Shampoo (£5.59). This product says it is highlight activating but I don't have highlights so I'm not sure how well it lives up to that. It does make hair look a lot healthier and since I have come home from my holiday I'v used it a lot and my hair now doesn't look so damaged from the sun and heat. I have also got a moisturizing conditioner just waiting too be used so ill let you know how I get on with that. Both products are definitely ones I would repurchase and have actually already started on my second bottle of the moisturizing shampoo. John Freida also does Brunette and Red collections that I would definitely recommend you try. My last hair product is a Firm Hold Mouse from Morrisons (about £1?). I wanted mousse to try out some simple wavy hair tutorials i found on YouTube and just went for a Morrisons own one which is actually really good! It smells quite nice and has UV protection so is going to help hair in the summer sun. For just under £1 it is brilliant and probably works just as well as branded ones, definitely a product I would repurchase because I didn't use it too much and so it isn't worth me buying an expensive branded mousse.

Skin...

Simple - Facial Toner
Clean & Clear -  Daily facial moisturizer

Clinique - Dramatically different moisturizing lotion
The next 3 products I have are skin care. First I have an AMAZING facial toner from Simple (£2.99). I love Simple and this product is the most refreshing thing I'v ever used! The vitamins soften skin and the nutrients soften and protect skin. I use this with 2 other simple products and just apply it before moisturizing with a couple of cotton wool pads. It is brilliant value as it is really quite cheap and definitely a product I will repurchase many times I'm sure. The second product is a moisturizer from Clean & Clear (Not sure about price but is usually around £2.99 I think?) which is okay as a spare or if your desperate but i wouldn't make a special effort to go out and buy it. It wasn't to bad to begin with so I'm not sure if i might have just got used to it? But i honestly wasn't exactly over the moon with this moisturizer and iv definitely used better. Lastly for skin care  I have another moisturizer  this time is it Cliniques Dramatically different moisturizing lotion.(125ml - £28 & 50ml - £17) This smells sooo good! It is really refreshing and even this small 30ml  version lasted along time! When i was using this product I did breakout which might just be a coincidence but  have seen other beauty bloggers say the same. Overall a good higher end moisturizer that I might repurchase in the future.

Spot treatment...

Witch - Blemish Stick
Clean & Clear - Spot treatment gel
The first product which is from a brand called Which is their Blemish stick (£2.99). Its really strong and even smells strong when you apply it. I felt it worked really well to begin with but maybe my skin got used to it because i soon felt that it wasn't doing much and my spots just kept getting worse. A product which is definitely good for the money and i might repurchase in the future but probably not any time soon. Next is Clean & Clean Advantage spot treatment gel (£4.59). Again this worked at first and had immediate action to begin with but then after a while stopped working so well. As I'm sat writing this post I have found that there is actually some left in this tube but again when its finished i might repurchase some time in the future.

I have really enjoyed reviewing these products so please let us know if you want more empties or just review posts.
