Christmas Nails ♡

If you have read any of my previous posts you will probably know that I am obsessed with painting my nails and anything that sparkles! So Christmas nails are obviously my favorite. Here are the nails I have gone for this year. I love these nails on there own or they will also look good as a base for Christmas theme nail art.

I used the Angelica Top Coat which is not pictured but is defiantly necessary with such a bold colour because your nails will be stained if you don't use one. The red is from the Avon nailwear pro + collection and is the shade Red Bombshell and the glitter is Rimmel Rock your Colour glitter top coat which is called 002 Disco Gold. I'm not going to use a clear top coat because if there are too many layers of nail polish it will easily come off and the glitter says it is a top coat anyway.

Sorry it's been so long since our last post but me and  Alicia have been busy with school do now that we have broken up for 2 weeks (WOOP!) there should be more posts including some festive fashion OOTD's from me. Also hopefully I'll be getting a better camera for Christmas so I will be posting more regularly from the new year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Fashion and Beauty Haul...

Haul...

Make up...

£5

First I have this Models Own eye shadow which is called Silver & Silver Sparkle. This style eye shadow has always scared me a bit because I've never thought they can be used much as it just looks like big pieces of glitter. However, it is really sparkly but the big pieces of glitter kind of break down so it just goes onto the eyelid like a powder with glitter in it. I think this would be a good product to wear for a party because of how glittery it is.

£5

Top- Silver
Bottom- Purple

This second thing is another eye shadow by Models Own. It is one of their duos called Disco Diva DE008 which is a silver and purple. These are again really nice colours for parties and are not as dark as they look. As you can see from the swatch they are just purple and silver shimmers really.

£6
This mascara is honestly one of the best mascaras I have ever used! It is the Hi Definer Lashed-Up Volumiser by Models Own. Before i found this mascara my favourite was Bad Gal Lash by Benefit and this is very similar. They have the same shape brush so i think that's what makes them  so similar but this Models Own one is £6 and the Benefit one is £18.50! It adds thickness and volume witgout leaving clumps so is definitely worth trying!

£4
This is the Models Own Eye Shading Brush. It is really good for getting under the brow bone and in the crease and so is perfect for a smokey eye which is what I used it for today!

Nails...

If you have read the summer nails post I did then you will no how i feel about Angelica nail varnish so ill just say THEY ARE STILL AMAZING!! I got a Top Coat and a peach called Iced Sorbet which is from the Soft Satin Matt Effect collection. Its not as orange as it looks on the bottom picture its more of a pretty pastel peach.

Clothes and shoes...

The skirt i got was from the River Island sale. It was £10 from £22. Its cream lace and had a brown belt and gold buttons. The buttons are up the front which makes it a bit more unique. So you can see it fully I wore a white bandeu from New Look which you could probably wear  if your confident enough. If not a white crop top or vest top or a black vest top will also look nice.

£4

These black loafers are from Primark. I'm not sure how long they will last as they were just £4 but they will look nice with a skirt and to start back at school with my skirt in September.

Thank you for reading my first haul post! I hope you enjoyed!

Small note...

So posts will hopefully become more regular because me and Alicia have finished school for the summer until Wednesday 4th September so we will have more time. I have been working on a fashion post that has taken for ever! But hopefully it will be up next week some time. Alicia went on holiday today (lucky thing) so its just me for a while but expect some holiday themed posts when shes back!

Summer nails!

My favorite nail polishes...

I have a slight obsession with nail polish but i have narrowed 67 down to my top 5... Here we go!

This really pretty purple is by Angelica which can be found in Primark. This is the shade Flirty - 99 and it is a lilac with a slight glitter in it which can only really be seen in light. Angelica nail polishes are just £2.50! Which  is great because they last and don't chip easily. Ill definitely be looking out for more colours!

Here i have another Angelica nail polish. This one is a glitter and is the shade Spring Break. I use this just on my ring finger nail and it looks amazing over all the polishes i'm going to mention. Despite being glitter and another layer of thick polish it stays really well and as long as you don't mess with it could definitely last a week. This is also just £2.50... bargain!

This is the nail polish that every beauty blogger and YouTuber seems to have its Mint Candy Apple by Essie.  Its a really cute mint colour (hence the name) however it is quite thin so takes 2 coats to turn out the colour it looks in the bottle. It is really good quality and lasts well as long as you don't pick it ( I found this out during exams, picking it when i was nervous and wasted a lot topping it up). It is pricey at £7.99 but Superdrug and Boots often have offers on their nail products.

This is probably one of my favorite nail polishes EVER! The picture really doesn't so it justice, its a really bright hot pink which is great if your going on holiday or just going out in the sun. It is Funky Fuchsia from Avon as part of their Arabian glow collection. If your really girly or just love bright nails this is definitely the colour for you! I love Avon generally but there nail products are by far my favorite and not to expensive at around £6.

Another Avon nail polish is the 24k gold strength. This looks really nice on its own but is still subtle so good for if your not really aloud nail polish for school. I like to use it over coloured polishes just to add a shimmer too. I'm not sure how much this is but its probably again around £6.

Right - Left

Angelica- Flirty
Angelica- Spring break
Essie - Mint Candy Apple
Avon Funky Fuchsia
Avon - 24k gold

So they were my favourite nail polishes and i now feel i have typed the words 'nail polish' way to many times! For more amazing nail posts check out http://ankiieee.blogspot.co.uk/
