Spring Haul☀🐤

Yay it's finally easter half term! Me and Abbie have been a little bit lazy on the blogging but thats only due to our exams coming up we have finally found some free time today to upload some posts and we are sorry about that we just have revision as when we get back after 2 weeks off we are straight into exam time! Anyway I wanted to do a spring haul on what I brought from Primark, Topshop and Forever 21 it's not much but I loved the things I brought and I thought they were lovely! I did nearly end up buying a £90 coat from Zara but I only had £50 so I got out of that one quick but I think it might be a cheeky purchase very soon......

Primark:
So the Primark I went to was the section in Selfridges which is good because It's all organised which is good and I found some lovely stuff. The first thing i brought was this lovely pink gingham fabric blazer with pink polka dots with a white background on the inside it's such a nice colour and it goes with a lot of things in my opinion which is good it also went with my JuJu Jellies and my white Leigh jeans from Topshop. The blazer was on £19 which is good as in Topshop and Zara they are more expensive.
White Jeans and Pink JuJu Jellies
Pattern on inside and outside
The last thing I brought from Primark was just a pastel yellow blouse which has tiny little detailed daises on the collar area and it was only £10 and I thought I would be able to wear it to my Grandmars on easter sunday with some nice jeans or something however the only little problem with it is that its a very baggy size 6 top and Im not a big fan of oversized clothing just as it makes me feel a little chubby but hey it was nice and I wanted it!

Forever 21:
I only got a few stuff out of Forever 21 I managed to find some lovely bralettes one lacy and one a crochet one both baby pink and they are lovely and I managed to find a cream top with lace detail on which has a drop down back which allows you to put a bralette underneath and for you still to be able to see it and I have fell in love with these 3 pieces of clothing and they will defiantly be going on holiday with me!
£7.25
£5.65
£8.25
£8.25
Also from Forever 21 when I was in the que I spotted these fantastic sun glasses which I have been looking for the perfect pair and also found a cute little pink floral hair brush which Is the cutest thing ever even though it will not go through my hair as its curly but hey I brought it to just put in my bag just incase of an emergency.

£4.90

£3.15
Topshop:
Next is Topshop I didn't buy much as Topshop seem to have run out of size 6 in everything:( which is sad even online they have no size 6's in things I want so I just had a little look around and found a crop top for the summer some small hoop earrings and some cute little midi rings! The crop top I brought is a lovely coral colour and I'm sure its going to look lovely in the summer with a tan I also brought it as I can wear it with my Topshop Joni jeans and it won't show much skin which is always good we don't want to be showing too much off! The hoops I brought are just small gold hoops and the 2 midi rings I brought are just delicate with a small clear diamond.
The picture makes this top look horrible but i swear its nice on!

And thats all from me:) I hope you like it me and Abbie will be doing posts when we have free time or a break from revision but after may and the first and second week of June are over we will be back doing posts nearly everyday.... Okay that was a bit dramatic but there will be more when we finish our exams.

Skincare products/routine ♡

Today Iv decided to do a post that I wanted to do for a while but my skin care routine is ever changing! So I decided to just show you the products I use now or have for a while and tell you how/when I use them. I have very spot prone, sensitive, sometimes oily, sometimes very dry skin and I have tried just about every product going and this is what is working for me at the moment.

Face Wash

First of is face wash. For a while I used the Simple spotless skin triple action face wash (Right). I remember thinking it was good but for some reason I stopped using it and swapped to the Simple refreshing facial wash gel (left). I recently found the triple action one and went back to it and now I know why I stopped, it gave me even more sports than normal (which is a lot!) but I have read reviews that say it is really good so maybe its just my skin type but it might work for some people. So now I have gone back to the refreshing face wash gel and I'm loving it.

Facial Toner

When I have been in the shower I like to use a facial toner. These are my 2 favourites, Simple soothing facial toner (Left) and Clean & Clear deep cleansing lotion (Right). I use the Simple toner when I go in the shower in the morning because it is very simple (No surprise there Abbie) and light so you can then apply makeup after moisturizer after where as the Clean & Clear one really makes you feel like you've really given your skin a  deep clean and you know you have definitely gotten all your make up off and you're ready for bed! I just use them by putting a small amount onto a cotton pad gently wipe it over your face going over areas with spots last so you don't spread the germs from them onto the rest of your face. I have only been using the Clean & Clear lotion recently but it does claim to prevent spots so fingers crossed!

Moisturiser

I have 2 moisturizers as well. The first I use just in a morning before make up, the Simple hydrating light moisturiser (Right) and at night once I have removed my makeup I use the the Clean & Clear dual action moisturiser (Left). Both of these are really good and I really recommend them. The simple one is good for under make up because its very light so when you've put makeup on it doesn't feel like you've 'caked' it on! I haven't been using the Clean & Clear one long like the deep cleansing lotion but so far so good and this also claims to prevent spots so again, fingers crossed!

Spot Treatment

I have tried just about every spot treatment going and these are the 3 that I have found work the best. I have had the Clean & Clear advantage spot treatment gel (left) for a long time now and find that it works really well but my skin does kind of get used to it and it stops working, but its great when it does work. I also got a gel called Epiduo (right) from my doctor when I went there about my skin which also works well but is VERY strong and contains some form of bleach which means you have to be careful to keep it away from your hair and it also takes the skin off if you use it too much but if you only use a few times it works well. I'm not sure if you can buy this from a shop but its worth asking a pharmacist or doctor about. Lastly is Sudocrem (middle). This simplest of things that works so well! Sudocrem is cheep and works just as well as many spot treatments so definitely worth trying before you splash out on an expensive product.

Face Wipes

I use the Simple cleansing facial wipes. They are really good at removing makeup and are super soft. I also like the blue packet of these which I don't have at the minute but they are really nice on the skin, they just don't remove makeup (especially eye makeup) very well.

Cleansing Pads

I forgot to include these on the main picture but they are essential in my skin care routine! They are the Superdrug deep action pore cleansing pads. They remove any last bits of makeup that are left on the skin and leave the skin feeling very refreshed and clean. I have tried a few different brands of these but have found the Superdrug own brand ones the best!

I don't know when we will next post after today because we will be spending our 2 week holiday either revising or at school but hopefully you wont have to wait too long!

Benefit Brow Saver

Hello, Its me Alicia finally I haven't fell of the face of the earth I have just been focused on all my work and have been given a lot of work to complete before we finish the for easter due to us leaving school early do complete our exams..... SCARY! Abbie has been keeping up on the blog posts unlike me but we are both trying our hardest to try and upload when we can!

Recently i have changed my eyebrow routine and this is all down to the Benefit Gimme Brow this was actually the wrong product and I was looking for the Speed Brow but brought this one instead and I'm so happy I did! I love it If I'm having a lazy day this just fills my eyebrows in and I don't have to use my powder to fill them in! It also keeps them in place so I don't have to use the speed brow to keep my eyebrows in place and I don't have to go and buy another one which means more money for me to spend yay!

The applicator brush on this is so small and cute and it's really easy to use as I can just sweep it over my eyebrows and it manages to fill them in and get them all in the right place again the tube is only small just like the Speed Brow but its magical how much they can actually fit in to them! It comes in two shades which is Light/Medium and Medium/Dark the one that suits me is the Medium/Dark.

Overall I think it's a great product and I really recommend it and its perfect for when it's one of those days where you can't be bothered to fill in your eyebrows and do the whole eyebrow routine and even if you have trouble filling your eyebrows in as the brush is foolproof. However it is very expensive as its £17.50 for a 3g tube but it lasts along time in my point of view!

I hope you liked this post It's only quick and I'm really busy at the moment and haven't really got much time to upload a lot of posts but me and Abbie will be back on when we have finished our exams which is for both of us the 13th June I think but we will try to upload more in the mean time and hope that these little fillers will satisfy you and we will upload a lot more soon!

Thank youuuu

Alicia

Smart/Casual OOTD ♡

A few days ago I went to see 2 of my best friends in their schools production of Oliver. I wanted to look nice but not too over dressed because it was only at their school (but the school I might be moving to next year for sixth form so I needed to make some kind of an impression!) So I wanted to show you what I ended up wearing. Firstly though I would just like to say the photos aren't very bright as it was about 7pm when I took them and 2 bulbs decided to blow in the light just before which was great! Anyway enjoy!

Jumper- Topshop
Shirt- New Look
Jeans- Primark
Shoes- Primark
Hair Clip- Primark
Watch- Michael Kors
Rings- Pandora

I wore my Topshop jumper with the cute heart shape tartan elbow patches with a shirt that has a glittery sequined collar that makes the outfit look a lot smarter with the black slip on shoes. For jewelry I wore my 2 Pandora rings and earrings (which you cant see) that match the flower ring. My nail polish was chipping as I had worn it for a few days but I absolutely love the two colours together! They are both by Ted Baker, 1 pink and 1 gold glitter. I chose to wear black jeans and not shiny leggings because I think it made the outfit more casual. I have also been loving doing my hair like this recently, where I pull the front back and use a mini clip to hold it into place.

Brand focus: Soap & Glory ♡

I have seen a few bloggers now do 'Brand focus' posts where they basically show all the things they have from a specific brand. I have wanted to do a review of some Soap & Glory products for a while so thought I could show you them all and maybe start a little series of these posts with a different brand every time maybe every few months?
My love for Soap & Glory products grows every time I go into Boots and see the shelves after shelves of amazing smelling products and have to drag myself away before I have no money left on my bank card! So here's my Soap & Glory collection so far, enjoy!

First of all I have shower gel. The full sized bottles are £6.50 which can seem a bit pricey just for a shower gel when you compare it too others but it is definitely worth it! The small one is a travel sized one that is really handy for going away on holiday and it is only £2.50 which I think is really good. I like that they are in a pump bottle so you don't use too much which is one of the reasons I think they are worth the price, as they last ages! I like to alternate between these 3 shower gels so that I don't get bored of them. The first one I have is Clean On Me which is a creamy shower gel but also has a built in body lotion. It leaves your skin feeling really smooth and soft and smells good too! The next one I have is Foam Call which has a stronger, more fruity smell than Clean On Me. I also think that it prevents your skin from going as dry as a normal one would so Its definitely a great one for winter. Lastly I have Sugar Crush. Words can not describe how much I love the fragrance of this one! It has a really strong citrus smell that lingers on your skin for quite a long time after and I just wish there was a perfume of this so that I could smell like it all of the time! I seriously recommend this one as it is my favourite and even if you don't want to buy it go into boots or super drug or somewhere like that and smell it, you will fall in love!

The next product I have is the Girligo spray on body moisturising mist. Mine came in a set so it is the mini 100ml which is £3.50 one but the full size 250ml is £6.50. This again smells really nice and is great for if you don't have time to apply a body lotion. You simply spray it on post shower and it soaks into your skin leaving its fragrance and not making your skin feel greasy like some lotions do. I wouldn't use it as an alternative to body lotion or butter all the time because I don't think it makes your skin feeling as soft as they do but it is definitely good to try and use when you go on holiday or don't have much time after showering in a morning.

The next product I have is possibly the most talked about product from Soap & Glory. It is the Hand Food hand cream that everyone recommends and is definitely worth having. It is not greasy at all and just leaves your hands feeling really soft and soothed which I think is done by the shea butter in it. It has a lovely light scent that you cant really smell until it has soaked into the skin. You don't need to use much of it which is probably why the hole it comes out of is so small (as I tried to show above)  but this is great because it means it will probably be a long time until it needs replacing. I have the 50ml one which is just £2.50 but I dont think you need it any bigger because this one is the perfect handbag size and as I already mentioned will last a long time, but they also have a 125ml tube for £5.

I cant really say much about this next item as I haven't really used it but it is The Righteous Butter. It contains shea butter and aloe vera to make your skin feel soft after you have been in the bath or shower. It smells nice (no suprise there) and is a nice creamy, thick butter that does feel really nice when you apply it. I cant wait to use this one more and see how nice it really is. I have the £2.50 travel size 50ml pot because it was part of a set but you can also get a bigger 300ml pot for £10.50 which I think is a lot compared to this smaller one for only £2.50.

Similar to The Righteous Butter I have the Flake Away body polish/scrub. I have used this product a lot in the shower because I get really dry skin on my heels and this has really helped! I use it every other time I go in the shower as I think its too strong because it has the little sand type grains that must be quite harsh on your skin for it to work so quickly, but works really well. I'm not sure what this exactly smells like but suprise, suprise its really nice and not too strong. Mine again was in a set so is the £2.50 travel size one but I think the bigger pot for £8 is definitely something to think about when mine runs out.

Lastly is the first product I brought from Soap & Glory a long time ago. It's the Smooch Operator lip butter balm which helps repair extremely dry lips. This is like a miracle product! Not only does it smell like coconut but in just 1 or 2 uses it repairs dry lips perfectly! It is no longer available in this size any more which I think is rubbish because this has lasted me a very long time, but you have to get a smaller pot which does look a lot smaller. Mine was £6  but it is now smaller and £5 but I would pay so much more if I had to because it really is possibly the best beauty product I own!

I really enjoyed doing this post so I think I will definitely do more brand focus posts soon and maybe Alicia will too! Sorry its been almost a month since our last post but I have been in my schools production of Oliver the musical which along with dancing outside of school 5 days a week basically took over my life (seriously I almost forgot what a dinner time was!) and Alicia has started her revision for our GCSE exams in the summer. Hopefully we will have another post up soon and you wont have to wait quite as long!

Review and comparing the naked 2&3 palette....

I know you have probably saw post and posts like this but I really wanted to show you the Naked 3 Palette and how its different to the Naked 2 palette! These 2 are my fav and I use them everyday however I have fell in love with the Barry M ones as well as Abbie did a post on it so go and check that post out as well and you will be able to see the comparison towards the naked palettes and the barry M palettes! Lets get started....

Naked 2 Palette:

Originally this was brought for me and my mom but my mom uses other eyeshadows like her Channels ones so she can use them up so she passed this on to me and she uses it when ever she wants! The colours in the Naked 2 Palette are a lot more darker and bolder then the ones in the Naked 3 Palette! In this palette you still have your simple colours at the front and the light browns at the front but to the end it develops in to darker colours!

Start of the Palette:
As you can see this is the start of the palette and it starts off with a light matte colour which is called Foxy I normally use this to highlight my brow bone, the next colour is Half Baked which is a lovely light brown colour and its not used that much but on some occasions I will wear this, the next one is used a lot by me and my mom and this one is called BootyCall and is a really light shimmery colour, the next one is called Chopper and this is a darker brown which again isn't used much, then it goes on to Tease which is a matte dark brown colour, and then the next one is one I use alot and this on is one is called SnakeBite and I use this one in the crease of my eyelid and it just looks a bit smokey when added in the crease or on top and the last one on this picture is called Suspect which as well sometimes I do add in to the crease.

Carrying on from Suspect it goes on to a dark brown colour which is called Pistol which is one I haven't actually experemented with and I might have to this half term as it looks like such a pretty colour! The next one is called Verve and this one is used by my mom a lot as you can see, the next one is YDK which is one I use to cover my eyelids and its such a lovely colour it's a dark brown however alot lighter then some of the others! The last two are ones I don't use much and these are Busted and Blackout , Busted is a dark dark brown compared to the whole palette and blackout is a matte black colour with a hint of sparkle in it!

Naked 3 Palette:
The Naked 3 Palette is the one I got for Christmas and the colours are a lot more natural and natural to work with and not so heavy on your eyes! The palette consists of baby pink shimmery colours and towards the end of the palette they range from light-dark browns which is good as you have different variety of colours to work with!

Start of the palette:
As you can see this is the start of the palette and it starts off with a very light colour which is similar to Foxy in the naked 2 palette and this one is called Strange and again its a white matte colour perfect to use to highlight your brow bone, the next one is Dust which is a delicate pink colour but when applied its very dark and very bold the next colour which is called Burnout looks similar and this is the one I use mainly when I use this palette, the next colour is a pink matte colour and this one is called Limit, the next one is called Buzz and this is a very dark pink so it kinda goes towards the purple side this one is very pretty however! The next one is another one that I use a lot and it is Trick which is a light shimmery pink and I love it so much it's a perfect colour! The last one on the picture is called Nooner and this is a dark brown matte colour!

Carrying on from Nooner there is a colour called Liar which is one of my favourites and I use this in my crease a lot I think its a beautiful colour and its a lighter pink/brown colour, Factory is the next one and this is a dark brown which is still very nice but its very similar to the colours in the Naked 2 Palette so I would use those colours first then move on to this one! Mugshot is then the next one and sometimes I use this one as I think its a lovely pretty colour on the pictures it looks like a light grey but looking at the palette its a light brown, the last one on the picture is called Darkside and this is a dark matte brown colour I don't use it much but its a very pretty colour!
Here is a close up of some of the colours but I just wanted to show the last colour which is called Blackheart and its a pretty dark brown colour with just little bit of sparkle in it and it's a lovely colour but I have no confidence to wear it!

Thank you for reading and I hope you liked this post! Comment if you have any of these and what your favourite colours are to use and comment if you would like me to do any tutorials with these!
