Haul Timeeeeeee

Helloooooo! Finally a post from me and Abbie, We have been really busy these past months which is shown by the lack of blog posts and we are so sorry but we are back! We only have our maths exam know and we are done which means longer 6 weeks yayyyyy! Anyway this blog post is a few things that I brought or my mom brought me while i was revising!

Clothing

So when me and my mom went to Birmingham we got a few stuff from Selfridges, River Island, Urban outfitters and lastly my fav shop TOPSHOP!!!!

First are the shoes from River Island and I'm surprised I brought a few things from there as I'm not a big fan of the shop and i don't normally see anything very nice but boy did I this time! These are just platform shoes which white with a tbar and ankle strap they are so nice and comfy and these were only £30.00 which is good considering the same style of shoe in Topshop is like £60.00.

Next I got this crop top which is cream but looks white on camera but its just a cute crop top which i thought I could wear with black high waisted jeans and a checkered shirt and old high top converse! It just has little a little detail on the arms and chest area where its  lined and this was only £6.00. Then I got a off the shoulder crop top in black which just shows the shoulders and collar bone which I love for some reason and it's just a nice top which allows you to dress it up and can wear with Jeans or anything which was £16..... I kinda feel like Sandy from Greece when i'm wearing it which is really weird.......

Next is Topshop and from there I didn't get much I just got some black Joni Jeans which are the most comfiest things ever in my opinion, I thought I could wear them on the sixth form induction day with a nice blouse so it kinda hides the fact I have jeans on. And these were just £36.

Then I went into Urban Outfitters and again i felt not much was there?! but I returned some stuff and brought this long sleeved white top with small flowers on it which I think is really cute, I thought I could wear it with just some leggings when it's a lazy day or just popping out something just casual and this was £28.00

Beauty

With beauty I brought my Mac Lipstick in the shade Hue which is the colour of my Prom lipstick as I had my prom makeup trail which I am so excited about may I add and I just brought this ready for prom but I also needed a new lipstick and I think it's just a nice natural colour!

Then as a good luck prezzie of my mom, dad and brother they brought me some Kiko Makeup and I got and eyeliner, pressed powder as I needed more, blush and lip tint and blusher and they are all beautiful. I saw the shop when I went to Venice with School and didn't think much of it but the makeup is perfect it gives me a lovely finish and the blush and lip tint is amazing!

In order of the pictures is goes the Kiko Blush which is from the Rock attraction edition in the shade 01 Pearly Rock it's very light but when added to my cheeks it gives me some colour and some glitter its such a lovely blusher to apply and I really recommend it! Next is the pressed powder in the shade 02 which is brill I never thought it would take over my Maybelline one but it has which I'm happy about, I just add it over my makeup when I have applied my tinted moisturiser and it keeps me from looking shiny all day especially when Im in the sports hall when me and Abbie are doing a 2 Hour history exam and it's like sunbathing! Then I got a new pencil eyeliner and it's great to apply and it's so smooth this one is in the shade 06 and its the skinny fit eyeliner. Lastly is my fav it's a lip product and a blush product I MEAN WOW WOW! its lovely the colour is lovely and it smells amazing, I normally just add to my lips and rub it in the apply lip balm over the top due to dry lips and then I just smile and add to the apples of my cheeks and it brightens up my face and adds colour I LOVE IT! It's in the shade 101 Venus pink and its Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks!

Beauty & Fashion Haul ♡

WE'RE BACK! Todays post is the first of many from now on! Me and Alicia have done most of our exams now (12 down 4 to go for me!) so we are only going to school for revision and exams before our sixth form induction days and leavers day! This means more blog posts (especially in the lead up to prom!) because we are almost done!

Because of exams I haven't been shopping for ages so I just have a few things that either my mom has picked up for me or I got a while ago so I'm going to show you them. Also I had to take the pictures really quickly because my camera kept dying and didn't like the battery's I tried to use so some of the photos aren't the best quality.

Hair

L-R Heat Protect, Hairspray, Dry shampoo

Firstly I have some hair products. I have 2 VO5 products that I haven't used before but they were on offer in Boots so my mom picked them up. The VO5 Heat Protect styling spray is so nice! It smells really good, which is basically all I look for in beauty products, and works really well too. I wanted a heat protect spray because I have been using a lot more heat on my hair than I usually would because Iv recently discovered how nice a high pony tail looks with loose curls. It says that it works at up to 230 degrees which I'm not sure if it does as I'm not sure how hot my curlers get but it definitely does the job for me. The second VO5 product I got is the refresh me quick dry shampoo. I believe this is more expensive compared to the Batiste dry shampoo that most people (including me usually) use but I think although they both do a similar job, I prefer this one. It feels lighter, isn't as chalky, smells really good and you don't have to spend ages making sure you don't have white hair because it isn't such a thick consistency. Lastly for hair, I just have the Boots firm hold hairspray. I never spend much on hairspray because apart from curls, my hair holds styles pretty well because its so thick, so this is just a really nice one to use because the bottle is huge so lasts a long time.

Beauty

L-R Clinique foundation, Boots sponges
I only have 2 beauty products. The first is the Clinique super balanced makeup fouundation in the shade 03 ivory. I didnt actually buy this product my auntie gave it to me when she was doing my prom makeup trial. She bought it and stopped usimg it because she found a number 7 one she prefered. It looks so natural so is perfect for prom in my opinion and I have used it once since then and it blends really nicely both with your fingers and with the Real Tecniques expert face brush. Secondly something I have had for a while and was a repurchase, the Boots cosmetic soft sponge wedges. These are a pack of 4 but I have one in my makeup box at the minute and are good for applying concealer to any spots so your brushes don' t get germs on them because you can just use the end and cut it off the sponge. Definatly a make up collection must have!

Fashion

Firstly I have some shoes. These are the Low Leather white mono converse from office. They are so nice on there own but I got swarovski crystals put on mine. Alicia has some crystalised converse that are so nice so I decided to get some too. You buy the converse and send them off to get the crystals put on but luckily for me, the musical theater teacher at the dance school I teach at on a Saturday does them so she did mine. I love them and think they will be so nice in the summer especially in the sun but for now I'v just had to wear them on the 2 sunny days we have had since I got them because I'm worried the crystals could come off in the rain if they get wet.

I brought the white tank top and denim jacket at the same time from New Look because I thought they would look really nice together. The top is a bit big so it hangs a bit low but I'm gonna just tac the straps at the back or something because its too pretty with the daisy detailing not to wear. I paired this recently with some H&M jeggings (bellow) and it looked really nice and will look good with the white converse too. The jacket is just a simple light wash denim that I have already worn so much because it goes with literally anything! I have rolled up the sleeves because I think it looks better like that and if I'm wearing a watch or bracelet the sleeves cover it up if they're just left normal. The last item I have is a recent find as i brought it on Sunday from the Trafford Center in Manchester because I went to Manchester to find the Etihad stadium because I'm going to see One Direction there on Friday so my mom needed to find out where it is before its mayhem on Friday! Anyway we decided to just stretch our legs in the shopping center which I'v never been to (and is huge and amazing!) but I only got a vest top from Hollister. It has really pretty lace on the sleeves and is a bright pink that will look really nice with some denim shorts in the summer. It has the words 'Beach Daze' on it to which I love because it just sounds summery?! I wore it yesterday with the denim jacket, leggings and converse (bellow) and it was a really nice simple outfit.

Spring Haul☀🐤

Yay it's finally easter half term! Me and Abbie have been a little bit lazy on the blogging but thats only due to our exams coming up we have finally found some free time today to upload some posts and we are sorry about that we just have revision as when we get back after 2 weeks off we are straight into exam time! Anyway I wanted to do a spring haul on what I brought from Primark, Topshop and Forever 21 it's not much but I loved the things I brought and I thought they were lovely! I did nearly end up buying a £90 coat from Zara but I only had £50 so I got out of that one quick but I think it might be a cheeky purchase very soon......

Primark:
So the Primark I went to was the section in Selfridges which is good because It's all organised which is good and I found some lovely stuff. The first thing i brought was this lovely pink gingham fabric blazer with pink polka dots with a white background on the inside it's such a nice colour and it goes with a lot of things in my opinion which is good it also went with my JuJu Jellies and my white Leigh jeans from Topshop. The blazer was on £19 which is good as in Topshop and Zara they are more expensive.
White Jeans and Pink JuJu Jellies
Pattern on inside and outside
The last thing I brought from Primark was just a pastel yellow blouse which has tiny little detailed daises on the collar area and it was only £10 and I thought I would be able to wear it to my Grandmars on easter sunday with some nice jeans or something however the only little problem with it is that its a very baggy size 6 top and Im not a big fan of oversized clothing just as it makes me feel a little chubby but hey it was nice and I wanted it!

Forever 21:
I only got a few stuff out of Forever 21 I managed to find some lovely bralettes one lacy and one a crochet one both baby pink and they are lovely and I managed to find a cream top with lace detail on which has a drop down back which allows you to put a bralette underneath and for you still to be able to see it and I have fell in love with these 3 pieces of clothing and they will defiantly be going on holiday with me!
£7.25
£5.65
£8.25
£8.25
Also from Forever 21 when I was in the que I spotted these fantastic sun glasses which I have been looking for the perfect pair and also found a cute little pink floral hair brush which Is the cutest thing ever even though it will not go through my hair as its curly but hey I brought it to just put in my bag just incase of an emergency.

£4.90

£3.15
Topshop:
Next is Topshop I didn't buy much as Topshop seem to have run out of size 6 in everything:( which is sad even online they have no size 6's in things I want so I just had a little look around and found a crop top for the summer some small hoop earrings and some cute little midi rings! The crop top I brought is a lovely coral colour and I'm sure its going to look lovely in the summer with a tan I also brought it as I can wear it with my Topshop Joni jeans and it won't show much skin which is always good we don't want to be showing too much off! The hoops I brought are just small gold hoops and the 2 midi rings I brought are just delicate with a small clear diamond.
The picture makes this top look horrible but i swear its nice on!

And thats all from me:) I hope you like it me and Abbie will be doing posts when we have free time or a break from revision but after may and the first and second week of June are over we will be back doing posts nearly everyday.... Okay that was a bit dramatic but there will be more when we finish our exams.

Skincare products/routine ♡

Today Iv decided to do a post that I wanted to do for a while but my skin care routine is ever changing! So I decided to just show you the products I use now or have for a while and tell you how/when I use them. I have very spot prone, sensitive, sometimes oily, sometimes very dry skin and I have tried just about every product going and this is what is working for me at the moment.

Face Wash

First of is face wash. For a while I used the Simple spotless skin triple action face wash (Right). I remember thinking it was good but for some reason I stopped using it and swapped to the Simple refreshing facial wash gel (left). I recently found the triple action one and went back to it and now I know why I stopped, it gave me even more sports than normal (which is a lot!) but I have read reviews that say it is really good so maybe its just my skin type but it might work for some people. So now I have gone back to the refreshing face wash gel and I'm loving it.

Facial Toner

When I have been in the shower I like to use a facial toner. These are my 2 favourites, Simple soothing facial toner (Left) and Clean & Clear deep cleansing lotion (Right). I use the Simple toner when I go in the shower in the morning because it is very simple (No surprise there Abbie) and light so you can then apply makeup after moisturizer after where as the Clean & Clear one really makes you feel like you've really given your skin a  deep clean and you know you have definitely gotten all your make up off and you're ready for bed! I just use them by putting a small amount onto a cotton pad gently wipe it over your face going over areas with spots last so you don't spread the germs from them onto the rest of your face. I have only been using the Clean & Clear lotion recently but it does claim to prevent spots so fingers crossed!

Moisturiser

I have 2 moisturizers as well. The first I use just in a morning before make up, the Simple hydrating light moisturiser (Right) and at night once I have removed my makeup I use the the Clean & Clear dual action moisturiser (Left). Both of these are really good and I really recommend them. The simple one is good for under make up because its very light so when you've put makeup on it doesn't feel like you've 'caked' it on! I haven't been using the Clean & Clear one long like the deep cleansing lotion but so far so good and this also claims to prevent spots so again, fingers crossed!

Spot Treatment

I have tried just about every spot treatment going and these are the 3 that I have found work the best. I have had the Clean & Clear advantage spot treatment gel (left) for a long time now and find that it works really well but my skin does kind of get used to it and it stops working, but its great when it does work. I also got a gel called Epiduo (right) from my doctor when I went there about my skin which also works well but is VERY strong and contains some form of bleach which means you have to be careful to keep it away from your hair and it also takes the skin off if you use it too much but if you only use a few times it works well. I'm not sure if you can buy this from a shop but its worth asking a pharmacist or doctor about. Lastly is Sudocrem (middle). This simplest of things that works so well! Sudocrem is cheep and works just as well as many spot treatments so definitely worth trying before you splash out on an expensive product.

Face Wipes

I use the Simple cleansing facial wipes. They are really good at removing makeup and are super soft. I also like the blue packet of these which I don't have at the minute but they are really nice on the skin, they just don't remove makeup (especially eye makeup) very well.

Cleansing Pads

I forgot to include these on the main picture but they are essential in my skin care routine! They are the Superdrug deep action pore cleansing pads. They remove any last bits of makeup that are left on the skin and leave the skin feeling very refreshed and clean. I have tried a few different brands of these but have found the Superdrug own brand ones the best!

I don't know when we will next post after today because we will be spending our 2 week holiday either revising or at school but hopefully you wont have to wait too long!
