Christmas Nails ♡

If you have read any of my previous posts you will probably know that I am obsessed with painting my nails and anything that sparkles! So Christmas nails are obviously my favorite. Here are the nails I have gone for this year. I love these nails on there own or they will also look good as a base for Christmas theme nail art.

I used the Angelica Top Coat which is not pictured but is defiantly necessary with such a bold colour because your nails will be stained if you don't use one. The red is from the Avon nailwear pro + collection and is the shade Red Bombshell and the glitter is Rimmel Rock your Colour glitter top coat which is called 002 Disco Gold. I'm not going to use a clear top coat because if there are too many layers of nail polish it will easily come off and the glitter says it is a top coat anyway.

Sorry it's been so long since our last post but me and  Alicia have been busy with school do now that we have broken up for 2 weeks (WOOP!) there should be more posts including some festive fashion OOTD's from me. Also hopefully I'll be getting a better camera for Christmas so I will be posting more regularly from the new year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Super Simple Makeup ♡

As I may have mentioned in a previous post I have horribly dry but oily and spot prone skin. But recently I think I have found a skin care routine that is actually working (touch wood) so I haven't been wearing much makeup purely because for the fist time in what feels like forever I actually don't need to! So this is makeup I'v been wearing to school and because I do a lot of dance this is the makeup that I always wear for that regardless of what my skin decides its doing because it always stays put.

First I put concealer under my eyes, on any redness and on spots and blemishes. I use the much loved Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer because it has great coverage, isn't heavy at all and stays all day. I set that with the Avon Colour Trend Translucent Powder which is my favourite because its translucent so doesn't make your face look powdery and helps keep the concealer in place. Even when I'm just dancing I do like to fill in my eyebrows because they never look very full unless I'v just had them threaded. I use the Models Prefer Eyebrow Pencil and I literally fill in as little as possible or else it takes a while for me to get them even. For school I do also run my clear mascara through my brows to keep them neat. For my eyes I only wear mascara. I love the Models Own Hi-Definer Lashed-Up Volumiser Mascara in black because it reminds me of my favourite Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara which I do wear sometimes but the Models Own one is just as good and a lot cheaper! WIN! I only use that on my top lashes and I use the Avon Crystal Clear Mascara (I know it doesn't look clear but sometimes I use it over black mascara so that's why) on my bottom lashes. This prevents any mascara getting under your eyes through out the day and is a great thing to do if your going to be doing any exercise. Lastly I just use a Maybeline BabyLips lip balm on my lips. My favourite at the minute is the shimmery Peach Kiss but I also love Pink Punch.

I know we keep saying it but now all our exams for the year are done fingers crossed me and Alicia can post more regularly and I cant wait to start Christmas posts! I might do a skin care post next because as I mentioned I actually found one that works!

October Favourites❤

YES Im back! Me and Abbie are back, we have been very busy lately with revising and maths and english exams! but finally we are back on track and have very little homework to complete! So back to the post! I managed to pick out some of my october favourites yes I know im late but who cares.... So this post is just basically what I have loved in the october month! Lets get started

Beauty:

1) Nivea Daily Essentials- Refreshing Cleansing Mousse
This has been my life saver all though the month of October! I have been so tired on a night that I have been ditching my normal skin care routine and have just been taking my makeup off with my makeup wipes and then have been getting hot water squirting this in to my hand and then just moisturising this in to my face and its honestly worked. It just comes out as a foam and you just run the hot water on it the apply to the face! It has left my face feeling really fresh and soft!

Nivea: Cleansing Mousse

2) Maybelline Eraser Eye
This has also been my life saver as I have been worn out and tired with all these exams           so I havent been sleeping as well as normal so what appears?! Thats right dark circles.... I know this says anti-age but it works on anybody face old or young! This covers all my dark circles and usually I apply it with my beauty blender and then just set it with my powder and bam you're done!

Eraser Eye-Maybelline

3) Mac Studio Moisture Tint-Light
This has always been my go to tinted moisture and in the month of october I have       gone back to this as I was using the Maybelline-Dream BB but I found this was getting very heavy and making my face dry so I stopped using it and went back to my old faithful! Tinted Moistures are honestly the best as I never wear foundation I always wear BB Creams or Tinted Moistures so If you ever what great coverage then I recommend the Mac Tinted Moisturiser.

Mac- Tinted Moisturiser

4) Lancome-Hypnose Doll Eyes
This is my all time favourite mascara from Lancome which I never shop at for makeup but this is the most perfect mascara ever! And I brought it at duty free in Cyprus, It was limited edition so you probably will not be able to buy it anymore which im really sad about because when it runs out I don't know what im going to do! It has never gone clumpy and stays one forever im not even joking!

Lancome-Limited Edition Mascara

5) Benefit- Speed Brow
I must say that my eyebrows have been out of control alot at the moment so I did invest in the Benefit speed brow gel which tints you're eyebrows but also keeps them in place so this has been working a trick for me as its 2 in 1! I havent had to fill my eyebrows in like I used to because this adds colour but also keeps them in place so its perfect its quicker in the morning as well so I defiantly recommend this!

Benefit-Speed Brow

Hair Care:

1) Babyliss Pro-Stylist Tool
Only one thing for hair tools as this is the only thing that is new over the october month and also what I have been using non stop! My mom invested in this as she wanted to start curling her hair alot more and our hairdresser recommended this to us so we brought it from beautybay and it arrived and we have been using it non stop! It adds these nice flowy curls to you're hair and they stop in all day! I will normally just add a few curls to my hair with this in a morning even though my natural hair is curly I just like to add more curls to make it look new again!
Babyliss Pro curlers
My Hair-Curled with the curlers above
done in sections.

Fashion:

1)Super Cosy-Black Fleecy Tights
Since I have been wearing dresses with my chelsea boots and just ankle boots and my fluffy 'Princess Coat' I brought some new tights as mine are old and too big for me! So I was just shopping in Primark having a look around and saw these tights which are jet black and are super cosy I thought wow bet they are nice and as I walked closer I saw that these tights had a fleecy lining I MEAN WHAT?! OMG so I just chucked them in to the basket and here they are!
Black Tights-Primark

2) SWEATER WEATHER:
So recently i have been buying and wearing loads of jumper and watching beauty gurus on youtube has made me want to buy more so every time I go shopping to Topshop, Forever 21, Primark etc i have to look at the jumpers and there is all sorts of different kinds so yes I have been buying them and I can't even tell you how many I have got and where I have got them from but here is just a few that I have brought.

Cream Jumper-Forever 21
Black Jumper- Primark
Blue Jumper-Topshop

Thank you for reading and me and Abbie are so sorry that there has been hardly any post but we should be back with it know! And my lookbook is on its way with some outfits that you can wear everyday but still be warm! Bye

How to style ♡

Grey jumper...

I recently treated myself to this gorgeous Topshop jumper. Its plain grey at the front but has heart shaped tartan elbow patches.  I made day time, more casual, and an evening, more formal, outfits with this jumper and got compliments from friends and family on both... WIN!

Casual...

Jumper: Topshop
Vest top (not seen): H&M
Leggings: H&M
Hi-tops: Converse

This outfit is comfortable and warm for the chilly autumn days. It could also be made a little more smart with some black flat ballet pumps instead of converse but I love this outfit because it's comfortable but still looks really nice.

Formal...

Jumper: Topshop
Shirt: Internationale
Jazz Leggings: Walsall Dance Shop
Shoes: Primark

This outfit looks a lot smarter with the shirt underneath and if you wear a pretty shirt like I did then you can take off your jumper if its hot and still have a smart evening look. My leggings are Jazz dance leggings, but I know not everyone will have them so I'm sure that disco pants will look just as good. I also wore my Thomas Sabo and Pandora charm bracelets.

I hope you like this kind of post and maybe we can do more like this in the future!

Autumn OOTD's ❤♡

Finally a new post! Me and Abbie have been so busy lately I mean I have been stopping after school everyday to finish coursework and homework! We also have some mock exams this week that we are stressing about and we also have our maths GCSE exam coming up so we have been revising for that nearly everyday! So we are so sorry for the lack of blog posts but we are slowly coming back into the blogging game! Me and Abbie had a sudden thought about our OOTDs yesterday because we really liked our outfits!

Time for an outfit post YAY!

Alicia's OOTD:

Jeans-Topshop Coat-Topshop Shoes-Primark Scarf-Primark and Blouse-Topshop

I really loved this outfit when I put it all together I really liked the tartan scarf as it matched the inside on the hood of my coat as well and the colour of the coat also went great with the brown coloured brogues. My jeans where a new buy as I was looking for a pair of black/blue jeans that I could wear in the winter and these were from topshop which I ordered online and they where £38.00 they are the Moto Leigh Jeans super skinny and these have always been my favourite jeans from Topshop and I have several lighter pairs. You can't really see my blouse under my coat and the scarf but  its one of those blouses that you can wear with you're leggings as its a high low blouse! It is cream with black polka dots over it, Its from topshop again and it was £38.00 I know expensive but it was all brought with my bank card!

My coat is just a dark green colour with tartan in the hood and has leather pads on the elbows which I think looks great with the colour, It's a big size as I brought the size 10 because there was no size 6 anywhere so I just had to buy it oops I was desperate, It was from topshop last year and I had it for christmas from my mom and dad so I don't know the price but it should still be on the website. My scarf and shoes are both from Primark and they are my most worn stuff at the moment, I thought the scarf went lovely with the coat as the hood had tartan in it but I just wore this over the top of the blouse so that it kept my neck warm! The shoes I wore just completed the outfit as I thought the colour was very autumnal the prices for these are both in my primark haul.

Shoes

Scarf

Blouse

And that me done! Over to Abbie to do her OOTD. I am slowly putting together a Autumn lookbook with all different outfits that I tend to wear during the season filled with pumpkin spiced latte and big baggy sweaters! Alicia

Abbie's OOTD:

Riding pants- Primark, Scarf- Small shop in Walsall Shopping Centre, Jacket- New Look,
T-Shirt- Superdry, Shoes- Primark

These outfits were for a non-uniform day at school so I needed something comfortable but still wanted to look nice and smart. Since I bought my riding pants in THIS haul I have literally worn them to death! I absolutely love them because they are so comfortable but still look really smart and I did get a few compliments on these throughout the day! Also they were just £6 so whats not to love?! My scarf was one that I got just to wear with this jacket. Its a really pretty neutral cream and brown thin fashion scarf (So it doesn't exactly keep you warm) with butterfly's on. This was just from a small accessory shop in my local shopping centre (Think a cheaper version of claires accesories?) and i believe it was about £2 which makes me love it a little bit more! My jacket is brown real leather (Sorry to any animal lovers but this jacket would be an exception if you saw it!) and its from New Look. It is pricey because its real leather but my nan and grandad bought it me for Christmas last year and I defiantly think it is worth it! Its £60 but you can get fake ones cheaper also in New Look. You cant see my T-Shirt but its a plain black one with a small pocket on the left. I t has to be tucked into trousers really because on the bottom it has a bright pink logo which wouldn't really match much.It was £16.99 but is worth it because it doesn't dis colour in the wash like some black clothing does and its the kind of thing you can wear with almost anything because its just a basic wardrobe piece that I think everyone should have! Lastly my shoes were £4 from primark and I actually had to buy another pair of these so i have one pair for casual wear and one pair for more formal outfits as i wore the first pair so much! They are in THIS haul post.

Hopefully we can do some more joint posts like this soon but as me and Alicia do different subjects at schhol we have different homework and revision free nights so we will try our best

Hope you enjoyed! Abbie

Rimmel Foundation Review ♡

I was so excited to open the October edition of Company Magazine and find a sample for the new Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation! I don't wear foundation on a daily basis but I like to if I'm going out somewhere because I feel like I'v made more of an effort and my face looks nicer. Last Sunday I went to a christening (See THIS post for a OOTD) so I tried it out and this is what I thought!

This foundation is a really nice texture. It is smooth and applies nicely to the skin. It reminds me of the Rimmel BB Cream but with more coverage. I think the texture is like a mix between the Rimmel BB Cream and the Maybeline Dream Matte Mousse which I also love. The sample was in the shade 100 Ivory which luckily was perfect for my skin but I haven't seen it in a shop yet so don't known if they do many different shades. It is lightweight and with some concealer very easily makes your skin look perfect. I didn't go shihny until towards the end of the day and it was a warm day so I was very impressed. It is very natural looking which is what Rimmel were looking for with the line 'Cake no more'. It is in boots for £5.99 which I definitely think is reasonable if your looking for a good drug store foundation.

Maybeline Dream Matte Mousse- £7.69
Rimmel BB Cream- £6.99
Rimmel Stay Matte- £5.99
(All prices are from Boots)

I know the colours aren't the same but you can see the similar textures in this picture.

Overall I think that this is a very nice and affordable foundation that I would buy in the future

Primark Haul ♡

So today me and my mom went into Primark because I wanted 1 pair of trousers which I saw in THIS post that Alicia did. But as per usual ended up almost buying the whole shop! I'v never been the biggest fan of Primark until recently but now I love it! As you'll see the 3 bags aren't all mine but with the clothes and shoes in there at the moment they could quite easily be! Also I'd just like to apologize for the photographs in this post, my camera insists on flashing sometimes... not fun!

Top...

£2
The picture really doesn't do this top justice. Its a pretty loose peplum style in a mint green colour. I think because I have light hair and skin mint and pastel shades look nice on me and its going to look nice with a cream cardigan in the transition between summer and autumn and then again in spring. This top was also just £2 reduced from £4 in the sale! Bargain!

Trousers...

£6

These are the riding pant style trousers Alicia persuaded me to buy (So I blame her for all of this ;) ). The only problem I had was red or grey? But at just £6 each I couldn't possibly choose! They are so soft and will match a lot of things and can be quite easily dressed up and dressed down. I also love the detailing down the sides.

£6
Another pair of trousers I bought are these plain grey ones with a crease down the front. They are also really soft and just £6 again. They are abit like the cigarette style trousers and are a bit more formal than the riding pants style ones.

£10
The last pair of trousers I got are these blue disco pants style ones. I'v wanted some disco pants for so long but never found any reasonably priced ones that don't look cheap. The pictures don't do these justice again because it flashed but they look a lot more expensive than £10! They were reduced from £18 and to be honest I wouldn't have payed that for them but they are definitely worth a look for £10. They also come in grey and black and I think I might have to go back for the black at some point.

Shoes...

£8

The last of my purchases was these black ankle booties. I think they will match the red riding pants and will look nice with a skirt and over sized cardigan when autumn really hits. They also have a tan colour which I wanted to begin with but they didnt have my size so if I wear these lots then I will just have to go back and buy them too!

A quick THANK YOU! ❤

Earlier this week me and Alicia noticed that we got 1000 page views! This is amazing so we would just like to thank everyone reading this and has read any of our other posts it really means a lot.

Baby Lips❤

Finally Baby Lips have landed in the UK yes yes im late writing a blog post about them but I just couldn't resist! I have got 4 of the famous baby lips I have Peach Kiss, Pink Punch, Hydrate, Repair. They are all so nice and add a lovely texture to you're lips and they are great if you don't want to wear a lipgloss but still want some colour then these are perfect! I have not purchased all of them yet but I might be having a full collection of baby lips very soon!

Pink Punch
This one is the brightest I own and it adds such a nice colour to my lips and its not overpowering either it look natural on and I normally wear this for school as it is noticeable but doesn't stand out alot!

Hydrate
Hydrate is by far my most used and I love it! It just adds a very sheer clear coat to your'e lips and just keeps them soft.... I use this one everyday as its just nice to keep your'e lips looking nice and soft! I really recommend this one as it has helped me with sore lips!

Peach Kiss
Peach kiss is just a light nude colour with a hint of sparkle in I think! This one adds a lovely natural colour to your'e lips!

Repair
When I brought this is also brought the blue one but when I got home I saw that they were nearly both there for the same use! The yellow one is the same as the blue one really but is there to repair your'e lips then to hydrate them! I recommend both but I personally think that the Blue one does repair and hydrate where as I think the yellow isn't that effective.

Leave a comment if you have tried baby lips and if so why is it your'e favourite?!
Thank you for reading
